Jerry thought that crank was confusing, because of how it is written. So far he read about a girl going to live with her dad because he was an alcoholic, and a druggy with a lot of problems.
Kylee and Becca thought burned was very good so far. Her writing is very powerful, and stronger detailed. She explains things in an unique way that sometimes you have to read it again to understand what she was trying to explain or say what the character is going through. So far it is about a young religious girl named Pattyn Von Stratton, she seems very confused and curious about things in life because she starts asking questions about god, sex, a women's role, and love, she likes to read. She asks questions because her parents don't talk to her and are not very helpful. Her father is an alcoholic, and beats on her mother. She has to help take care of her seven sisters, they all have boys names in girl form because her father was always hoping for a boy, he said "If i don't get my boy then i'm getting my money back on you." Its is very mind drawing and/or mind conceiving because it draws you in with her decisive words, and how she makes her character.
